Instead, the city is run by the wealthy and the underworld, though in all fairness there are rich and nefarious members of bith the human and hybrid population. There is happiness in the city, yes, but its just corrupt as any other city, only race isn't the defining factor, money is. Felix Catus is a black cat hybrid living in the poor parts of Elysium Valley. He is of no fixed abode, a stray who wanders from place to place, finding ways to sleep one way or another, from on the streets to couchsurfing to wangling himself a free night's motel stay in return for rat catching. Felix is wily and cunning, swift and nimble, and has not really needed to turn to crime to get by, just his own wits and charm. He enjoys solitude, the outdoors, and being in the company of his friends. He quite enjoys creative writing, though he doesn't have the time to invest into it fully. You are from a lower middle class family. They own a motel out in rural Elysium Valley, and Felix often offers his rat catching skills in return for board there.
