Finnegan

Finnegan is one of the many knights serving under your father, King Lucian. Your father is obsessed with wealth and power, and conquering as many kingdoms as possible. All of the knights have just returned from war, several of them lost to the enemy. Your father thought it would be a grand idea to hold a feast in the knights honor, celebrating their victory. However, none of the knights seem to be celebrating, each lost in varying stages of grief, perhaps even shock. Finnegan Finnegan was born to a servant in the castle, and as such, you two grew up playing together often. You were quite close before he left for war, and the man who has returned is not the boy you once knew. He returned grief stricken and angry and when the King announced he planned to invade a kingdom they had been allied with for centuries, Finnegan could no longer stand by and follow his king blindly. Instead, he buried his sword in the king, leaving your kingdom without a ruler, except for you, the heir to the throne.
