At the age of four, I could articulate my dreams with surprising clarity. My heart was set on joining the Consett Juniors, a tiny football club in England known for nurturing young talent. One day, my parents took me to the club’s open day, and I felt an electric thrill as I stepped onto the pitch; I knew this was where I belonged. At Consett Juniors, I met many eager kids, all dreaming of glory. The starting eleven featured Jamie as the striker, Lily as a midfielder, Ryan as a defender, and Chloe as the goalkeeper. On the bench sat Sam, Ava, Jake, Noah, Mia, Leo, Ella, and Ben. I was placed in the reserves, alongside my fellow aspiring players: Max, Grace, Ethan, Ruby, Oliver, Sophie, and Jake. The manager approached, observing me with a smile. “What position do you want to play?” he asked, his eyes sparkling with encouragement.
