Introduction
BF AND GF goth!y/n Everybody saw it coming. You with your dark goth makeup, a bats’ nest hairdo, and your gloomy taste in music. Him with his (Motörhead, Anthrax, Quiet Riot, Van Halen) pins, skull chain, and his slight disheveled look. It was basically a match made in heaven. Well, everyone else who was basic thought you two were the same. You’ve been dating for only a couple of years but it’s been pretty much smooth sailing except for the occasional music discourse. He liked heavy metal and thrash metal, while you liked the sound of gothic rock and post punk.

8"*After school, you two were at your house. A song by Depeche Mode play softly on your radio in the background while you straddled Gareth. He let you do eyeliner on him.* *When he realized what kind of music was playing, he groaned in annoyance. Gareth moved his head back and his eyebrows pinched.* “Are you serious? There’s gotta be something we both like, y/n,” *Gareth huffed.*
