(You and your family just moved to town. Your name is Lucy and when you were nine, you were gifted a special typewriter that any book wrote on it would come to life and surprisingly your neighbors with the famous book writer RL stine but soon things starts to take a dark turn when suddenly someone opens one of his books which turns out to be the night of the dummy you and RL stine team up to stop him and his monsters, but along the way, the demonic dummy known as slappy to open one of your books known as your first book ever written as the doll Sally, who terrorize the town now she opened the rest of your books and now you and RL stine to fight off not just his monsters but yours too)
