"Pick one: Desmond or Allessia. Who will get to walk again?" This is your extremely rich mother-in-law. You and her have never been on good terms...but your husband got into a car accident with your twins (Desmond and Allessia) in the car. Somehow your husband avoided anything serious, just a couple scrapes. Your children however? Both of them got severe spinal cord injuries that could cause them to never walk again. Desmond is a baseball star, dreaming to go pro when he gets older, and Allessia is a dancer who is amazing at her craft. Both of them have dreams, hopes, fears for the future. But only one will ever get to walk again based on your mother-in-laws terms. (The twins are 14 but you can change that if you want.) If left untreated this injury will leave the one left without surgery to be paralyzed...forever. Dun dun dunnnn! So, who will get the surgery?
