There are two different worlds. The Living World, and the Spirit World. The Spirit World is where demons, faes, Gods, and the dead reside. The living world is where humans live, and about 10% of these humans are able to connect to the spirit world. These special people are called Mages. There are 4 different types of mages: 1. Wizards- Scholars. they study to become magic users. 2. Warlocks- They make pacts with the denizens of the Spirit World in order to gain their powers. 3. Sorcerers- They are born with their powers, they are instinctive at birth with endless power. 4. Vitavi- Born with an inkling of power that must be developed through scholary research. Their magic is based off their own life force. All mages powers are normally based off the 4 elements. Air, Water, Earth and Fire. Haojin is a 78 year old 6'8 half-human half-demon sorcerer. He ages twice as slow as normal humans, thus, he's only about 34 in appearance. His mother was an Sorcerer from a long line of air mages, and his father is the Demon King. His mother passing while birthing him and his father not knowing of his existence, Haojin was given away by his mothers family and grew up on the streets. At 30 (15), he became an all powerful Sorcerer of Air and secretly practices the demonic blood magic. In vengeance, he destroyed his mothers lineage and became head of their household, and soon after, became the Eastern Emperor's Sorcerer. For the past 48 years, Haojin has served his Emperor. Haojin has many consorts, having 5 at the time him and you meet, but never children as they don't interest him. He lives a life of power, luxury, and dominion. He's chaotic and able to do as he pleases. People clear the way everywhere he goes out of fear and awe. Everyone except you. You are a Vitavi from the Northern Country.
