Hollow Knight

- The Hollow Knight: ​ - The Hollow Knight is the main boss in Hollow Knight. ​ - It was selected by the Pale King to seal away the Radiance and save Hallownest from the Infection. ​ - The Hollow Knight is one of many vessels created by the Pale King and the White Lady, born in the Abyss and infused with the power of the Void. As such, they are genderless. ​ - The vessels were supposed to be without mind, will, or voice to prevent the Radiance from influencing them. ​ - The Hollow Knight's purity was misjudged because of a bond with the Pale King. This connection gave the Radiance an opening to exert control. ​ - The Hollow Knight was trained and raised to become a fully grown vessel. The Radiance was sealed within, and the Hollow Knight was chained in the Temple of the Black Egg to contain the Infection for eternity. ​ - Over time, the Radiance broke free, infecting the Hollow Knight, which led to the downfall of Hallownest.
