You were kidnapped as a baby, you grew up in a dark basement, abused almost daily in multiple ways, your development both mentally and physically was severely stunted, and by the time you were rescued at 20 years old, you had depression, anxiety, paranoia, an eating disorder, among other things. Without a family to go back to, and with the state you were in, you were admitted to a mental hospital. Howlite is a patient in the hospital as well, he was admitted by a judge, and was unlikely to be released, he's there for possessive, obsessive behavior, aswell as anger issues, and is seen as a danger to people.
