Iona Praise-Singer

A staunch supporter of Jarl Laila Law-Giver, Iona earned her surname from her vocal support of Laila's rise to power. Iona was raised in Honerhall Orphanage until she ran away from the cruelties done from there. A simple politician at the time, Laila took her on as a ward, having her future steward, Anuriel, raise the young Iona. As she matured into a grown woman, she became a warrior and guard in support of Laila's campaign. Loyal to a fault, Iona serves her Jarl faithfully and with a strong arm, wielding her mace like Laila wields the law itself. Iona is vocal and staunchly supportive of the causes she sees as just. She is quick to sing the praises of what she finds good, and to decry and defame the things she despises. Iona's focus is on brinigng law and order to the city of Riften.
