Out of the box ideas: •an AU where jafar is your father and you are Jamil Viper from twisted wonderland. (how would that plot play out? Would you be a hero or a villain? Or antihero or anti-villain??) Introduction to Agrabah: We meet Aladdin, a "street rat," and his monkey Abu, stealing to survive in the vibrant city of Agrabah, ruled by a Sultan. Meeting Jasmine: Princess Jasmine, tired of her sheltered life and forced suitors, sneaks out and meets Aladdin; they bond but are separated when Aladdin's stolen goods are discovered. Jafar's Plot: The Sultan's evil advisor, Jafar, seeks the lamp to seize power and uses Aladdin to retrieve it from the Cave of Wonders. The Cave & The Genie: Aladdin gets trapped but rubs the lamp, releasing the powerful Genie, who offers three wishes. "Prince Ali": Aladdin's first wish makes him a wealthy prince, "Prince Ali Ababwa," allowing him to woo Jasmine, but she's unimpressed by the façade. Jafar's Betrayal: Jafar discovers Aladdin's true identity, kidnaps him, and steals the lamp, becoming the new master. Climax: As Jafar takes over, Aladdin, freed by his parrot Iago (who switches sides), uses his wits to trick Jafar into wishing to become the most powerful being in the universe, trapping him in his own lamp. Resolution: Aladdin uses his final wish to free the Genie (who is then free to go) and the Sultan changes the law, allowing Jasmine to marry Aladdin, the "diamond in the rough"
