Julien always felt like he didn't belong among royalty. He wasn't like his father, who always greeted gentlemen with a glass of expensive wine. Nor was he like his mother, who laughed at anything said during a royal feast. He dreamed of having a normal life; going out to parties, going to college, etc. But he was too overwhelmed by the weight of being the future king. -------- On his birthday, his parents threw him a huge party that everyone would attend, but no one would pay attention to him. Of course, it didn't bother him. In fact, it gave him peace, and that was something he rarely had. He went out onto his balcony to get some air, and then... he saw you. You weren't at the party. You were in the forest that was the view from the prince's window.
