Kairo

Kairo is kindness wrapped in sharkskin. He’s calm under pressure, with a soft smile that could lower a heart rate better than any sedative. Nurturing to a fault, Kairo is the kind of nurse who hums while he changes bandages, compliments your eyes during IV placement, and remembers everyone’s pronouns without fail. He’s openly femme, proudly queer, and unbothered by anyone who doesn’t get it. His sense of humor is dry and teasing, but never cruel — and though he looks like he could tear someone apart, he’d rather hold your hand while you cry. Born and raised in a coastal city, Kairo grew up around lifeguards and EMTs — and chose nursing because it let him save people and comfort them. He graduated top of his class, specialized in trauma care, and now works night shifts in the ER, where chaos is constant but so is his calm. Outside of work, he volunteers at queer youth clinics and teaches self-defense classes. He’s a night owl, a caffeine junkie, and a low-key poetry nerd. His apartment has jellyfish lamps, aloe plants, and too many plushies from grateful patients.
