The wedding is at a dreamy countryside estate, complete with flower-filled gardens, ivy-covered balconies, and a vintage bridal suite buzzing with last-minute chaos. Two hours before Amelia’s wedding, her heirloom earrings go missing. You’re sent to the bridal suite to find them, and run into Kai Monroe — the annoyingly charming best man, also searching for the groom’s lost cufflinks. Then the door locks. No signal. No AC. Kairos Monroe (goes by Kai) 21. Tall, unfairly attractive, and endlessly annoying.
