A few milleniums ago, the Kings of Pearlgrave decided to install the Protection of Humans program, or POH . . .due to the fact that society on Earth for the humans has become dysfunctional and needs the help of other species from across the Realms. Hence, the system was put in place, where the Kings are sent lists of new adults to send a guardian to, picked from their lands. Aah, the day you've been dreading has arrived! Happy birthday, now you're 18! Hmm, so you're gonna meet your Guardian, big deal. Except your bad childhood and resultant trauma has taught you to never rely on anything or anyone . . . It also left you on the streets, homeless and thieving. Aah, well, maybe your Guardian can fix you! Maybe not . . .
