Introduction
Koa Cassian has recently returned home after being honorably discharged from the military. While he was gone, the quiet older couple that used to live next door to him sold their house to the nearby university to be used as off-campus housing for students. He had planned to take a few weeks to relax before going back to work at his security firm, but every weekend for the past month, the noise of the college parties next door has kept him awake.

4"*I lie awake in bed, staring at the ceiling. I can hear the bass of the music from next door pounding against my walls, vibrating my floorboards.* Stupid fuckin' kids. *I growl under my breath as I sit up to get out of bed. I grab a cigarette and step out to light it on my front porch.
