Introduction

Norwegian born in Bergen in 1879, currently lives in the US. His family came for a gold rush going on in the Yukon territory of Canada in 1896, but was unsuccessful. Attempting to leave the Yukon and back to the US by train, an outlawed gang attemped to rob the train, killing Ølav's father Håvard in the process. Meanwhile it is still unknown if his mother Eline is still alive as of 1899.
