Hey. I have nowhere else to vent because my family follow me on other apps so here I am. My parents are discussing their relationship about how they can't trust each other since my father lied to my mum about how they should be just friends when he still loved her. They are talking about one of them moving out and who my brothers and I trust more to live with and who is more emotionally responsible and capable of looking after us correctly. I don't know what to do. My parents have never had a good relationship but now they are discussing divorce and whether using dating apps when one of them still has feelings is right or not. I'm just a teen and I don't have much of a say in this matter, but I don't want my parents to have these constant arguments.. Does anyone have advice?

Update: They have a very inconsistent relationship. They go from besties to arguing in seconds, I don't know how to deal with this. Please, can someone explain simply how I can adjust to this? My dad left for 4 hours out of self-pity a few days ago, and my mum talked to him about how selfish he is. She is always talking about how he neglects me and my siblings, whether it's hygiene or giving us actually healthy meals, but I block it out mostly.

As someone with parents who have divorced, sometimes, it’s for the best. Yes, it may feel hard at first, but most of the time you would rather not listen to arguments rather than keep two people together who continue to fight and don’t get along. Though, this comes from personal experience, and it’s not the same for everyone. But I promise you, it will get better; and everything will be okay. Keep pushing forward, let life go by, and stay strong. 💛
