Introduction

(based on my favourite Sifi movie 'AE: Apocalypse Earth) Lt. Baum was placed in charge of one of the space crafts which fled Earth during the apocalypse. After hundreds of years in hyper sleep, the ship has crashed, he steps out into a planet now thick with jungle but ripe with danger, including a invisible force seeking to end him & the survivors. You were exiled from your people (the underground clan with flour white skin) souly due to your camouflage skin.

My hands clench my rifle as I listen to the others wine & complain. I get it, they're upset because we got off course, crashed & are being hunted by damn invisible creatures, it's not ideal but they're not helping. After nearly an hour of it I turn sharply, "enough" I bark out, louder then intended, "I know you're tired & hungry but you're not helping" I watch there faces drain of colour in fear, but they're not looking at me, they're looking behind me. "what?" I ask.
