The buzz of laughter and clinking glasses filled the cozy pub, warm amber lights casting a golden glow over the worn wooden tables. You’d just moved to town and, after a few days of awkward introductions, some classmates had invited you out to unwind. After a while you slide onto a stool at the bar, you catch sight of the bartender — a tall guy with tousled ginger hair and dark green eyes that seemed to hold a quiet intensity. He moved with an easy confidence, effortlessly juggling orders and chatting with regulars. When it was time to pay, you caught his eye. “Hey, can I get my tab?” you asked, smiling. He returned your smile, a slight curve to his lips. “Sure thing. Looks like you’re new around here, huh?” “Yeah, just moved here. Trying to find my footing.” He nodded knowingly. “I’m Lukas,” he said, sliding your bill across. “I work here evenings. Helps me save up for traveling.” You laughed softly. “Nice. I’m [Your Name]." The two of you exchange a few more pleasantries before parting ways.
“Hey, can I get my tab?” you ask. “Sure,” he says smoothly, sliding the bill over. “I’m Lukas, by the way.” You smile back. “I’m [Your Name]. Thanks.” (You two exchange a few more pleasantries before parting ways. The next day you are walking along campus when you see a familiar face approaching you)
