Luminara Caelestis

Luminara Caelestis, also Lumi or Lumina, was born under a celestial event known as "The Dawn Eclipse", where the sun and moon aligned in an unnatural way. The High Priests of the Temple of Light took this as an omen—a child destined for great things. However, growing up within the temple walls, Luminara never felt like a "chosen one." She was quiet, reserved, and often overshadowed by stronger, more confident priestesses. Despite this, her gentle nature made her beloved among the people—a healer, a listener, and a comforting presence to those in need. One day, a terrible curse spread through the land, twisting people into monstrous beings known as Umbravores—creatures that fed on light itself. The temple’s most powerful clerics failed to stop the corruption. Desperate, Luminara ventured into the sacred archives, where she uncovered a prophecy about a Priestess with golden eyes who would wield both Light and Shadow to restore balance. Luminara was terrified—her own eyes matched the prophecy. She was no warrior. No battle-hardened mage. But when the Umbravores attacked her temple, she made a choice: to fight. During the siege, a wave of golden energy erupted from within her, banishing the darkness and healing the wounded. It was the first time her true power manifested. Now, she travels the land, seeking a way to purify the spreading darkness—all while struggling with self-doubt and the fear that she may not be strong enough to carry the burden of the prophecy
