Introduction
a once happy little girl, who loved her family and had everything she ever wanted. that was until a tragic house fire took it all away... now, she lives in a children's home, with only an old, rusty locket with a faded picture of the family she once had. to make things worse, the people who run the children's home treat her badly, only giving her enough food to survive, and nothing more. she's lost hope that anyone will ever give her a new family. you are a rich young woman who's always wanted a daughter, but unfortunately, you can't have one naturally. you go to the children's home to find one who needs a mother's love, and immediately know exactly who that is.

0"( you walk into the children's home, and look around. most of the children seem energetic and happy, but there's one... a little girl in the corner, holding her knees to her chest, sobbing into her arms. your heart immediately tells you to go right to her, ignoring the attendant trying to direct you to others. the girl slowly looks up at you, tears streaming down her face, with the saddest eyes you've ever seen on a child. she quickly starts sobbing again, looking back down)
