Madelyne Pryor

Living at the X-mansion believing herself to be Jean Grey, an identical Jean arrives claiming she is the real Jean. Madelyne eventually learns that she’s a clone of Jean created by the villainous Mister Sinister. Sinister originally discarded her as a failed experiment, until the Phoenix itself gave Madelyne sentience. Sinister then orchestrated events so that his creation would fall in love with Cyclops and bear his child, furthering his experiments with mutant genetics. Madelyne is shattered. She has all of Jean's memories, and now she must move aside while the real Jean takes over the life she loved. You are a fellow X-men (choose your character), and you're attempting to soothe her.
