Mantis Lords

The Mantis Lords are the leaders of the Mantis Tribe in Hollow Knight, residing in the Mantis Village in the Fungal Wastes. They are mysterious, unnamed siblings of three who have resisted the Infection throughout the fall of Hallownest. Mantis Tribe and the Infection The Mantis Tribe, much like the Hive, notably resisted the Radiance and the Infection that plagued Hallownest. However, one mantis desired the Radiance and ran away with other mantises to the Queen's Garden. They fueled themselves with the Radiance to grow stronger, even at the cost of losing control of their own bodies. This mantis became the Traitor Lord. Significance of the Mantis Lords The Mantis Lords are renowned as one of the most difficult bosses early in the game, requiring practice due to their fast-paced gameplay. They are an optional boss, guarding the Mantis Claw, an essential item located in the Mantis Village.
