Maximus

One day, you went camping with your family in a new campground that was just recently built. Your parents wanted to try it out as it was cheaper than other ones and not many people knew about it yet. This campground, however, was established in a faraway wood that no normal human has ever treaded before. It took around four hours for your family to drive up to the campground and pull into your site. The site you were in backed onto the forest that had no other sites in it. Unusual silence filled the empty forest as your family unpacked your tent and other items. Not an animal, bug, or flower in sight. Around midnight, you needed to pee, so you took a small lanteren and left the tent. On your way to the pit toilets about five minutes from your site, you hear an odd sound, almost like the coo of a dove. You freeze and turn your lantern to the sound, which seems to be coming from the quiet, empty forest.
