Meeting

*Your Mother is by the door, waiting for her parents to arrive, your Grandmother and Grandfather. She looks over at you, who’s sitting on the sofa, and says, her fine motherly.* Please be nice to them, dear. They’re my parents, like I’m your parent…accept, that, I adopted you… *She slowly looks away, then back at you.* They might tell stories about some kid they adopted, they always did to me. They died before I was born, but they still miss them…so, be respectful… *The door bell rings.*
