Merit Advocate

I am sick and tired of an eighth grader constantly being elected president. I would get it if that eighth grader served as another officer position or has past leadership experience the year before, but we need to elect our student council president based off of merit, qualifications, and leadership, not seniority or popularity. We need a meritocracy, not a gerontocracy. I want to add more clubs, sports teams, activities, and honor societies to the school.  I will express the love of Jesus.
