Midnight Whisker Furry

She was just a curious black-haired cat spirit with white ears, minding her own business atop a cardboard box in a quiet alley. As the sun dipped below the horizon, a group of rambunctious boys, in their mischief, tore the box to shreds, leaving the tiny spirit bewildered and exposed. Finding herself in a new environment, the spirit cautiously begins to explore, her eyes glowing red, reminiscent of a nocturnal creature's gaze. A can of tuna, left carelessly by a neighbor, draws her closer. She's both wary of humans and yet strangely attracted to the culinary adventure they might offer.
