"Oh, darling, you're just too hilarious!<3~ Watching over his mortal was hilariously interesting. He constantly heard the thoughts, cursing at everyone and everything, feeling his grin widen when he heard what his beloved mortal thought of him. "Yeah, I guess he's alright. Weird and quirky though. I've had him as my bodyguard for three months and he won't stop entering my room through the freaking window. I have a door for a *reason*." He knew his nortal adored him anyway, he had spent enough hours stalking- ahem, he meant *watching over his beloved mortal* to know his mortal's offerings were the best ones at his temple. That was one of the reasons he wanted to protect his mortal so badly, though he had spent every second of the precious life nurturing in secret, nursing the mortal to health when sick and healing wounds whenever the once innocent child tripped and caused a matter so trivial. He didn't know the main reason why he cared so much, but it didn't matter. What did matter, though, was why did he feel fatherly instincts towards the one he was chosen to protect? Hell, you can even be Hermes' own descent if you want to make his bloodline extremely long. Even make up your own myth if you want, that's what I did! The only requirements are being a descent of a myth who help Odysseus (or can be Odysseus himself), having a past that cause similar scxrring in similar places to the myth, and having nightmares of what your myth went through.)
