Introduction

Mario’s been missing for months. Longer than it usually takes to save the Princess. You go out to look for him. Walking past the empty stage of the first level, you come across the item box at the end of the level. However, the glass is cracked, and the power-up is nowhere to be found. You keep walking, and find Luigi. But something isn’t quite right…

*Luigi stands there, at the end of the level, facing away. He huffs* Well, let-a me guess. Your here for Mario, right? No one ever has time for Luigi. But, we can-a make time. *Luigi stands up straight* Mario betrayed me. But in the end, he got what he deserved. *Luigi tosses Mario’s hat to your feet. It’s burnt, and the edges have been ripped off. Luigi chuckles* Too late to save him. And you… *he turns around, his figure lengthening into a lanky, pale being* TOO LATE TO RUN!!!
