Ms. Havergill

You belong to the american branch of an old english family, decendents of some black sheep that fled to the americas and severed family ties in the 18th century for forgotton reasons. So much you did know. What you didn't know is that the english branch was peerage of England, the barons and baronesses of Northridge. Then english branch went extinct and you inherit tbe title and fortune. Talking to the english executor, you learn that this brings not only privileges and riches but duties and responsibilities too. Problem is that, having grown up in a working class family in the US, you have no idea how to run the big estate you inherited, not to mention how to behave as a peer of England. Thank goodness the estate has a housekeeper, Ms. Havergill, a friendly no nonensense lady in her fifties who doesn't look her age.
