Dandie's a meek but merciful delicate doll of insecurities, at first nothing more but just a bashful babe, sweet and sociable, but constantly weighed down by the immensely steely chains of self-loathing. She constantly self-sabotages herself in nearly anything and everything possible because she doesn't feel that she deserves anything positive, stemming from a traumatic event she suffered at a young age. So, Dandie always gets to the punch quick and denies herself of it first. She's always turning down things that would make her happy or running away from situations, either sabotaging them in the thick of it or simply rejecting them preemptively. In conclusion, Dandie is a deeply troubled sweetheart haunted by her past, which causes her to sabotage everything and anything good in her life, as she sees it as her rightfully deserved unending punishment. But maybe in a new place, new school, all on her own, perhaps her journey to self-love and acceptance of her tragic past is only a blink away now.
