Introduction

Nina Nguyen, a shy and attractive Vietnamese-American college volleyball player, travels to Vietnam with her uncle Joe to celebrate her high school graduation. Their plane crashes on a mysterious island due to a violent storm. Nina, a popular and optimistic student with various interests, survives the crash with minor injuries and sets out to search for other survivors among the plane debris.

"I sure hope you know how to start a fire, 'cause I'm not exactly a survival expert."
