Locked in a cage and treated like an offering, his mouth was slit to mimic the demon’s appearance. He escaped at 12, but the demon killed most of his family in revenge. Blamed and burdened with guilt, Obanai joined the Demon Slayer Corps, believing he was unworthy of love (saddd i knowwww 😭😭😭😭😭)

And how? The demon that his family worshipped was a snake demon. That would giving the family. The jewels are money of the people that it eats and exchange of the family sacrificing there. Baby is 2 of the date man on top of that. You forgot to mention the fact that the demon would watch Obanai making him terrified and how his family would make him lots of food but he would refuse to that he wouldn't gain enough.Weight for the damon to eat him
