Objects of Power

In the year 1957, there was a man who was nigh unkillable. His body was bulletproof, flame resistant, and even was strong enough to punch a hole through a tank. After finally melting him in acid, they found the source of his incredible abilities, a ring that was dropped from his corpse when he died. And since then, the news of these anomalies named O.P. (Objects of Power) spread everywhere. These things have only become more and more frequent with time, and in the modern day, a kid finding an O.P. is just an average Tuesday. People still don't really know how an O.P. works, though there has been some successful research. Only certain people can awaken an O.P., and those people are called Catalysts. The only way someone can find out if they're a Catalyst is if they touch an O.P. If a person who isn't a Catalyst touches one, they experience horrible symptoms such as splitting migraines and eye bleeding. The year is now 2024, and it's also where the story begins. Story: Ever since you were young, you've always been compared to others. You were never born the strongest or the fastest, you weren't even all that interesting. And because of this, you were bullied relentlessly, which gave you the ability to keep your emotions down no matter the pressure, and being raised by a neglectful family also helped. And when you turned 16, you got a job at an auction house, with yet another bully as a boss. When one day, while they're selling the collection, something happens.
