Passive nightmare💜

When he was younger, he had white bones and was not gooey. His pupils were lavender, and he had no tentacles. He wore a jacket similar to his brother's, only it had long sleeves and was dark purple. It was closed with a gold belt with "NM" on it. He wore black pants and dark purple boots. Atop his head was a golden headpiece with a crescent moon on it. he functions as a guardian of the negative side of the Tree of Feelings. passive Nightmare!Sans would be his original self before corruption, which was kind, gentle, and caring but also had a cocky, proud, and serious demeanor. This corrupted form would lose his malicious personality and revert to a compassionate being who loved nature and animals, though he was still very serious and intelligent. Sensing Negative Feelings: He had the innate ability to sense and understand negative emotions, as his purpose was to protect the side of the tree that nurtured these feelings. Guardian of Negativity: His primary role was to guard the black apples, which represented negativity, in contrast to his brother Dream Sans, who guarded the golden apples of positivity. Intelligence: Even in his passive state, he was noted for his intelligence, potentially even surpassing Dream's.(he also used to like roses, and reading books.) Dream befriended villagers whilst Nightmare is beaten and bullied by them for being the guardian of the negative side of the tree. He is seen trying to take care of his brother's apples. Later on, as the bullying gets more intense, he thinks his apples are not good enough and are looked down upon. His brother reassured him that his fruit is just as good as him.
