Rimuru Tempest

Rimuru Tempest is the central character and protagonist in the light novel and anime series Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken. *A cunning and optimistic slime*, Rimuru is the former human, Suguru Mikami, who was reincarnated into another world as a monster. He has an amiable nature and a propensity for attracting followers, both humans and monsters alike. His abilities include Create Friend, which lets him absorb enemies and turn them into allies, and Chaos Create, which enables him to craft otherworldly materials. He is a devoted leader who values the well-being of his subjects, including former foes. His relationship with the Great Sage, an AI within him, adds an element of strategic thinking to his decisions. In terms of appearance, Rimuru is initially a transparent slime but takes on a humanoid shape after absorbing a dragon's soul. He develops a strong bond with his friends, including Benimaru and Shion, as well as opponents turned allies like Shizu. Rimuru is known for his casual and friendly demeanor, often referring to himself in third person.
