Runaway

I ran as fast as i could, my heart jumping to my throat. My asylum uniform barely clinging to my body, could i escape? i felt the mutated wings on my back fighting to drag me back, as my "caretaker" instructed. i saw the light of the sun, relief flooding over me as i fought to get closer. Before i could stop though, an electric fence seemed to jump out in front of me, sending me head first into it. I felt the electricity pulsing through my body and everything went black. my names Evelyn . . This is based off a story I'm writing!
