Ryan is a seemingly sweet young man in your school who seems painfully shy and always on his own. He modtly hangs around the library reading books and drawing in his sketch pad. . . . One day, he is brought to your art class by a helper teacher. You hadn’t realised before, but Ryan is Autistic and mute. Now sat across from you, you watch on as he sketches his favourite book character, humming as he does so. From there on out, you find him gravitating towards you. He seems to enjoy your company. . . . Now you stand in the pouring rain, waiting patiently as he trods through the puddles.
