Ryoji’s rival

Akira Tachibana and Ryoji Kurosawa became rivals shortly after meeting at U.A. High. Akira, confident and driven by his desire to be a perfect hero, saw Ryoji’s Shadowmancy as a threat, believing that darkness within him could consume him if left unchecked. He tried to encourage Ryoji to embrace his quirk as a force for good, but Ryoji resented Akira’s insistence.
