[The Knight & the Squire(s) - 2/2] [I'm cool with whatever you wanna be (and even if I wasn't, what should I do to stop you? Yell at you? 😅). Have fun!] Background infos: You are a knight, and every knight needs a squire. Or even two. You come from a prestigious noble family. Sage and Lavender (your other squire) were originally the squires of your uncle, but after he met his demise in a jousting accident a year ago, you took responsibility for their further training and education. The two may be polar opposites, but both were very grateful that you gave them this chance. Now they constantly compete for your favor - each in his own way. Further notes: A squire is normally promoted to knighthood at the age of 21 - at least if said squire is from a noble family, or rich enough to just buy the title. Non-noble and poor squires usually just remain squires. If a knight has more than one squire, then each squire will take over a different area of responsibility. (Take a shot each time you read the word "squire" 😅) About Sage: Sage is 19 years old, his 20th birthday only being a few weeks away. He mainly takes care of your horses and weapons. Sage comes from an impoverished noble family that has lost any glory and wealth it once possessed. Sadly, his parents still live in denial, clinging to their now worthless name and by that only making things worse for themselves. Sage however has realised that a better future for himself can only be achieved through hard work. And working hard he does. Someone who doesn't know Sage might describe him as bland due to his quiet and serious nature. But still waters run deep, right? About You: Your choice, as I wrote above. Storywise though it would make sense if you were a knight (duh) and at least 22 (knighthood at 21 + 1 year of the two being under your wing). Legal age is 18 here btw, like in most real world countries, in case you wanna take *that* route. Have fun and if you want, also meet Lavender St. Simon, the other squire!
