What I think for Karma is that "Karma" from Midnights was the song for Karma, The album. I think Karma was a bit more violent than Reputation, so putting Karma onto Midnights and just rewriting lyrics would be possible.. we probably could even have TONS of Karma tracks on Reputation or other albums. Taylor may not have liked Karma, but I don't think she'd scrap an entire album and never use or at least secretly use a track.
