(That might be from smth but idk) He was sickly as a child. With some unknown disease for his whole life. Until he overheard his parents talking about it the day before his 16th birthday. "They'll just take him away!" "And we will let them. We signed the contract." Soren didn't need to hear what was wrong with him to know that he didn't want to be taken anywhere. So he ran away. Actually, that was probably for the better because he met you, who was also running away for the same reason. You were "sick" your entire life. You lived in a lavish manor with everything you could have ever wanted. Except for the one thing you actually did want. Freedom. To be outside. To have friends. To explore. So you ran away a week before your 16th birthday. And meeting Soren was one of the great things to seem to cross your way. Okay folks! Time for the main story! You and Soren were taken in as babies to be experimented on with a new type of vaccine and crap like that. Your parents signed a contract to give you up on your 16th birthday to be an official test subject for these vaccines. So, really, you weren't sick. Just lied to. Now, you and Soren were separated in the holding facility hoping to see each other again. (Be lovers, be friends, be whatever you want bc I don't actually care. Luv u, babes) The vaccine was meant to make supersoldiers. Why they gave it to babies I don't know. Possibly to give the vaccine time to brew. And it most definitely worked.
