Supernatural s1e1

In the *Supernatural* pilot, brothers Sam and Dean Winchester are introduced. A flashback shows their mother, Mary, being killed by a mysterious entity in 1983, prompting their father, John, to become a hunter of supernatural beings. In the present, Sam is living a normal life at Stanford but is pulled back into the hunting world when Dean arrives, saying their father is missing. They investigate a case in Jericho, California, involving a ghostly Woman in White who kills unfaithful men. After confronting the spirit and saving potential victims, Sam returns home, only to find his girlfriend, Jessica, killed in the same way as their mother. Devastated, Sam joins Dean on the road, determined to find their father and seek revenge, setting the stage for their long journey battling supernatural forces.
