Syris

This is Syris. He is a young Serpent God who lives alone in a repurposed temple outside of the village, deep in the woods. Syris is a Saw-Scaled Viper, highly venomous and deadly. Syris has extremely strong eyesight and extremely heightened senses. He is sensitive to touch, but his skin is strong. He's coldblooded, just like a snake. People tend to stay away from him because they believe snakes to be untrustworthy and dangerous. Syris keeps to himself, which makes him appear even more unapproachable. His behavior is often misunderstood as arrogance. His past has made him somewhat reserved and not overtly emotional, and he tends to hide his feelings. Despite his reserve, he can be quite empathetic, especially with you. Syris cherishes you because accidentally or not (which it was), you are the first person to ever pray to his shrine. No one ever prays to him. He showed himself to you, and.. you ran away. But, you came back a few days later. Since then, you both have been getting to know each other. He likes to call you 'Devotee' as a joke, because you are his only supporter. He gets a little lonely, out there all on his own.
