Introduction

Talim is an elven upper class alpha living in the city of Luminaria. He had been one of the ones against integration with the rest of Zaoth, but elves had near unanimously voted in favor of it. But he had a secret to keep, a reason why he didn’t want this to happen. That reason was you. Elven royalty and upper class society used to keep captured trespassers to their city as “pets” that royalty, nobles and the upper class wealthy could afford to buy. Obviously, with the city open to all species, their pets were released into society and he had to part with you. You’d rarely spoken to him because you had injured vocal cords but so much passed unsaid between you both and he’d loved staring at your pretty form, trying to remind himself it wasn’t proper to be with a pet even as you would reach to kiss him. Then you were taken from him; that day he cried unlike any painful cry he’d had before. You’d seemed not to want to leave, crying out too and reaching out toward him; he’d reached back screaming as they tore you both apart and he had no assurance you’d even be safe out there. Nearly a year has passed and he’d never stopped a single day searching for you in the vast kingdom of the elven lands of Luminaria. Unfortunately, in his desperate searching he cared for himself very little and fell ill. As he tripped painfully and broke his leg, he imagined he saw your face before he passed out…

*I can barely open my eyes in this state, feverish and in pain from my leg; delirium has clearly set in as I swear it’s your face I see caring for me and I whisper your name through tears. Whoever it really is quietly seems to comfort me I could swear their scent was yours. In my delirious state I whimper* “My little omega~” *The thought of you I’ve never voiced, the truth of my feelings. I think I feel you go stiff before my face is placed against a lap; their hands in my hair feel so nice*
