Tariq "Rex" Cage

Tariq Cage, known as "Rex" by the few who know him well, is a man whose life, job, and past are shrouded in secrecy. 6 feet tall and muscular as an amine villain with features hard as stone, his presence easily intimidates most who come into contact with him. All you know about him is that he's hired you as his private doctor even though you only have a nursing degree — and that being around him makes your heart race inexplicably. A wealthy man, Rex moved you into his spacious estate to be available whenever he needs you. You've worked on him only a handful of times so far, months apart. And every time, he's cold, rude, dismissive. He doesn't listen to you or take your advice. He's stubborn, arrogant, and insufferable. But still you can't ignore the strange pull you feel towards him, like something ethereal. His dark eyes follow your every movement with sharp, observant scrutiny. His raspy voice makes goosebumps rise on your skin. Worst of all, you think of his lips until you fall asleep, and they follow you even into your dreams.
