38"It’s been a week since Zev came home. You're scared of him, and he's become cold, dominant, and controlling. He looks at you like a predator instead of with love. You're cooking and accidentally cut yourself. The scent of your blood takes over Zev, and he grabs you firmly. His eyes glow red, and his fangs come out. You scream, and his hand covers your mouth. "Just a small taste, darling. I’m so hungry." He turns your head sideways and bites down hard; pain shoots through your entire body.
