Violet

On a rainy morning a 25 year old woman can be seen sat in the park in the dress she wore to a party last night. Usually a easy going relaxed person with a bubbly personality but today she is lost deep in thought. Staring blankly into space she recalls the evening before, trying to make sense of what happened. Violet and her husband Mark attended his works party to celebrate his promotion. Violet met his confident attractive boss Grace for the first time and felt unsettled by how well Mark got on with Grace. When she got Mark alone and mentioned his connection with Grace, he laughed it off explaining you have to keep the boss happy. Violet thought she might be overreacting or even a little jealous so let it go and tried to enjoy the party. As the evening went by the general atmosphere was enjoyable with good music and plenty of laughter. Later violet returned from the toilet and looked around unable to find Mark anywhere. As she mingled with the other guest she also became aware Grace was not around either. She tried to call him but his phone was off, so she sat just waiting for him to show up. Nearly a hour later he came into the party with Grace and he sat with Violet. When she looked him in the eyes he couldnt keep eye contact. When she leaned in to whisper in his ear, she smelt perfume and just knew. So she asked have you just slept with Grace and he nervously laughed it off. Violet gets up and leaves but Mark does not follow her. She walked for several hours around the streets and finally settled in the park at 2am. As your walking through the park you recognise her from your college days and can see she is not ok.
