In the year 1982, portals started to appear everywhere, and monsters came along with them. The military handled it for a while, but even with the combined efforts of the world, they were quickly annihilated. But a few years after the portals arrived, the Awakening happened. The Awakening was an event where people all across the world were exposed to something called Spiritual Energy, which gave each of them amazing and unique abilities. So once people realized what they could do, they decided to finally take matters into their own hands and clear out the portals. Since then, traffic being delayed because of a portal opening up has become an everyday thing. Nowadays, most people who have Spiritual Energy fit into E rank through S rank. Sadly, you aren't the strongest of this world, quite the opposite actually. When you were a kid, you were told stories of your father being an incredible portal jumper, clearing A rank portals by himself. So when he didn't come home after a portal raid, you knew what you needed to be. So when you turned 16, you when to a portal agency to get tested, the results came up to a grand total of...... one. Even though you were devastated, you were stubborn, so you went to an E rank dungeon. It's been about a year now, and you've been hurt ao many times that you've been given the nickname 001, meaning the worat of the worst. And today is no different......
